Step into the ice. The Polar Station hides more than secrets… it hides new dangers. In this update, we unveil the story behind the map in the core game and a new feature, the level difference.

Darkness Falls, and Something Wakes…

Standing alone against the constant freezing temperatures and powerful winds is the Polar Station. It is the 90s and the Station has found its way into the hands of the Company. It was created to explore ground-breaking science but hidden away were forbidden experiments. Unaware of the looming danger, the employees at the Polar Station were busy preparing for the long Polar Night, days of endless night and isolation. Their annual tradition of watching a horror movie the first night of winter was underway. Meanwhile, past the raging blizzards and sub-zero temperatures, strange and horrific things were beginning to stir. Before the clueless employees could press play, the alarm began to ring.

The lights flickered.

The real horror began.

Survive the Depths — and the Heights

As the nightmare unfolded, the survivors realized that escape wasn’t just about running. It became a deadly puzzle of choices and consequences.

Some of our sharp-eyed followers may have already noticed something… unusual in the previous map preview. Those arrows? Not just decorations. They’re a signal, a warning.

In Season 2, we’re introducing a terrifying new element to all maps: Level Difference. Rooms aren’t always equal. Some paths are steep, crumbling, or one-way only, represented by unidirectional passages on the board.

Survivors must follow the arrows if they want to pass through these areas directly. For example, jump out of the window at the Radio Station. But what if you want to go back?

Tie a rope at that location, and the passage becomes fully accessible both ways. The best part? You don’t have to tell the Killer you’ve done it.

Is your escape route set, or are you cornered? Let them guess.

Killers, beware: you’re powerful, but not unstoppable. Try to force your way against the path’s direction, and you’ll have to discard a card to push through.

Every path, every shortcut, every blocked escape becomes a deadly mind game.

This new mechanic deepens the dread and the deduction. Survivors can outmaneuver their hunter or trap themselves in the process. And for the Killer, each wrong turn might mean wasted time… or a perfect ambush.

And This Is Just the Beginning…

We’ve only scratched the frozen surface of what Season 2 holds. Look at the map carefully. There are more to come!

The survivors are not helpless prey. They’re skilled, scarred, and not so easy to kill.

See you in the next update!
